2017’s Returning Air Jordan 1 Mid “New Love” Is Going To Be Different

It definitely not be far fetched to claim that the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” has gotten restocked quite a lot ever since its return last year. The first of these restocks was scheduled to take place on at Nike Soho. New York to mark the opening of this new storefront back in November 2016. Sneakerheads reading this may or may not know this, but the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” was originally dubbed “Old Love” and debuted as a part of the “Beginning Moments Package.” Now, its counterpart from the “Beginning Moments Package,” i.e. the Air Jordan 1 “New Love,” will reportedly make its comeback in 2017.

Air Jordan 1 Mid “New Love”-2The “Beginning Moments Package” is often also referred to as the “Old Love / New Love” Package because of the original nicknames of the two colorways. While the Air Jordan 1 Mid “New Love” will be returning for the very first time, it is obvious that the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Old Love” has already hit the shelves, recently dubbed the “Black Toe.” While plans for the opening of Nike Soho were put on hold for some reason, Footlocker ended up restocking the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Black Toe” alongside the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard.” The sneaker was also restocked at Jordan Bastille and on Nike SNKRS Japan.

Just recently, Instagram user shared a photo that appears to depict this year’s upcoming version of the Air Jordan 1 Mid “New Love.” Judging from its appearance, the version that will be joining upcoming Air Jordan releases 2017 will be slightly different from the original from 2007. Perhaps the most notable difference will be the fact that the jeweled Jordan “Wings” logo will be absent. It has apparently been replaced with the traditional stamped-on “Wings” branding. Furthermore, instead of Gum Rubber outsoles, they seem to be Maized-colored. Other than that, it still sports the original Black and Maize color scheme.
