The Yeezy line from adidas and Kanye West has been dominating a great portion of the sneaker and streetwear community. The Yeezy line debuted back in 2015 and ever since, the sneakers included in it have become the most sough-after all over the world. Every new Yeezy release effortlessly succeeds in creating tremendous hype, enabling the line to soar higher and higher. Much of the credit for enabling the Yeezy line to achieve its current status goes to the brand’s Vice President of Global Entertainment and Influencer Marketing, Jon Wexler. The latest installment in the Yeezy line is being referred to as the PowerPhase, which has been unveiled.
Kanye West has frequently given shout outs to Jox Wexler during his “The Life Of Pablo” shows. Kanye even claimed that Jon saved his life, metaphorically at least. Jon Wexler’s handle on social media websites is “wex1200,” in case someone is interested in connecting and getting in touch with him. Jon firmly in the influence that Kanye has had over the Yeezy line, which has bolstered its success. Jon claims that Kanye has always been honest and open when it comes to the Yeezy line. If this were not the case, the Yeezy line would not have progressed so far, with a brand new installment.
The latest Yeezy model is the PowerPhase, which is relatively low-tech and looks kind of like the Reebok Workout because of its gym-shoe aesthetic. Next month is also scheduled to mark the retail debut of another Yeezy Boost 350 v2 colorway, this time the “Triple White” one. However, adidas already seem to have introduced another brand new colorway of the silhouette dubbed “Earth.” It looks like a darker variation of the Yeezy Boost 350 “Oxford Tan” because of its Light Brown-colored, tonal uppers that have been paired with matching, opaque Boost soles.
adidas is yet to announce a release date for the Yeezy PowerPhase, while the Light Brown-colored Yeezy Boost 350 v2 is reportedly just a sample for now, so its release is also uncertain. Nonetheless, the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 is indeed arrival at retailers on April 29th, while Summer 2017 will also mark the retail debut of another “Dark Green” iteration of the model.
