Air Elan by Nike was another attempt to target those who prefer a practical and stylish design without much of the glitz and glamour; the flashy ones as they call it. These kicks are being released in two different colorways this time. These colorways features white and black colors, and are expected to be released sometime during Fall of 2009. The upper on these shoes featured a combination of leather and fabric, while the stitching pattern was such that the design provided maximum comfort and ease of use. Despite being a performance basketball model, the Air Jordan 1 can also be considered an equally practical and stylish design.
The laces are colored in white accents while the base of laces is hued in white as well. There is a logo of Nike juxtaposing the Swoosh on the tongue in this colorway. The Nike Swoosh is visible on the outer sides of the shoe with a perforated pattern that makes the outer boundaries of the Swoosh. The inner linings of both colorways are in the upper’s matching hue. The mid sole and the sole of the shoe are pure white in this one. These shoes are specifically designed to offer a durable yet comfortable support to the feet for the tennis enthusiasts. Thus, sneakerheads with the affection for sports who had missed out on that particular Nike release had ended up feeling quite sorry.
The latest upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High is perhaps the most ominous one in recent times. Earlier in October, the Air Jordan 1 High had returned to its vintage roots with the “Anti-Gravity Machine” colorway that had uppers made up of pre-cracked patent leather. The Air Jordan 1 High seems to have been revamped once again, this time featuring all-Black glossy patent leather and textured tumbled uppers, along with White-colored accents all over. Sneakerheads will have to wait if they wish to cop a pair because Jordan Brand has not yet announced a release date.
