The Air Jordan 1 “Top Three” was one of the Jordan Brand’s Cyber Monday Jordan releases for 2016. In fact, it was arguably one of the biggest releases of 2016, both of the model itself and in general. Its “Top Three” nickname refers to the fact that it draws inspiration from three of the most iconic colorways of the Air Jordan 1, namely the “Banned” (“Bred”) from 1985, the “Chicago” and the “Royal Blue” ones. Some sneakerheads may have missed their chance to cop a pair for $160 from Nike.com on November 28th at 10 AM ET. Fortunately, the Air Jordan 1 “Top 3” is getting restocked.
The first colorway that inspired the Air Jordan 1 “Top Three” is regarded as the sneaker that Michael Jordan was fined for wearing in 1985 since its Black and Red color scheme broke NBA’s uniform regulations. The second source of inspiration is the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago,” the Red- and White-colored iteration of the silhouette, which itself had gotten restocked back in September 2015 via an newly introduced online drawing system by Nike. The third one is the Air Jordan 1 “Royal” that had last arrived at retailers back in 2013 and will once again be hitting the shelves among the Jordan releases 2017.
The Air Jordan Retro High OG “Top Three” is indeed getting restocked, but the only catch is that this is only happening in Japan on Nike SNKRS. Therefore, only Japanese sneakerheads or those who know someone in Japan will be able to grab a pair. 9 AM Japan local time sharp on December 25th is when the relevant sneakerheads should head over to Nike SNKRS and add this sneaker to their collection. As of now, Jordan Brand has not dropped any hints regarding a possible US restock of the Air Jordan 1 “Top Three,” but since it is the Holiday Season, there is no reason to say never. If not, they can always try looking for this sneaker on eBay and they should manage to find someone reselling a pair.
