Several years ago, Drake used to star in Canadian teen drama TV series Degrassi in the role of Jimmy Brooks. He also made several appearances on Saturday Night Live back in the days. Currently, Drake seems to be aspiring to become a late-night television host one day, especially because of the “amazing suits” they wear every night. In the process, he wishes to make his audience “feel good and laugh.” Considering how his major releases tend to have gaps between them, Drake is hoping to bridge that gap with his upcoming collaboration with Apple Music. Of course, there is also the release of the Air Jordan 12 OVO “Black.”
Back in October 2016, Jordan Brand dropped the all-White colorway from the Air Jordan 12 OVO collection, which has the name of Drake’s label attached to it. As of now, it is uncertain whether Drake will be directly involved in the release of the upcoming iteration, but it is on its way to retailers nonetheless. As sneakerheads recall and can see, the Air Jordan 12 OVO “Black” has uppers made up of a combination of premium nubuck and stingray leather, which are dressed up entirely in sleek Black. Additionally, it is also equipped with all-Black translucent outsoles and the insoles feature Drake’s Gold-colored OVO owl branding.
Much like last year, sneakerheads will likely be rushing out to get their hands on this latest OVO release from Jordan Brand. Finally, a release date has been confirmed, so sneakerheads will be able to cop the Air Jordan 12 OVO “Black” at a price of $225 on February 18th, 2017.
