It was back in March of this year when Nike finally unveiled the 2016 N7 collection, which was dubbed the “Move Your Generation” Collection. Primarily, the 2016 N7 collection is supposed to represent the determined, “never give up” spirit of athletes. It is also meant to epitomize Lyle Thompson, the Iroquois Confederacy Ambassador, and Jude Schimmel, a promising basketball athlete who belongs to the Umatilla Tribes. Furthermore, this collection is also inspired by the modern artwork of Bunky Echo-Hawk, a Native American activist and artist. Now the colorway of the Air Jordan 31 that is a part of the Nike N7 Summer 2016 Collection has also been unveiled.
Oddly enough, the 2016 N7 collection had already become available at Nike.com earlier this year on March 19th. This year’s collection included a Nike Air Max Tavas, a Nike Juvenate, a Nike Hybrid Jacket, a Nike men’s Splash Tee, and a Nike women’s Splash Tank. Both the apparel and footwear were dressed up in vibrant hues and featured geometric shapes representing the arrival of Spring. Astonishingly, Nike recently introduced another N7 collection for the summer that also became available on June 21st. Sneakers that were included in the collection were the Air Max 2011 and the Air Max 2016, but were apparently not the only ones.
There is also the possibility that Nike may end up dropping yet another N7 collection before this year comes to an end. Of course, there have been no news or rumors circulating about another potential N7 collection, but Nike can be full of surprises. Ultimately, the goal behind the Nike N7 Fund is to help Aboriginal and Native American youth who partake in physical activity and sports. Whatever the case, this Air Jordan 31 colorway is real and its knitted uppers are dressed up in a combination of Black, Dark Turquoise and White. Along with “Jumpman” logos visible on the tongues, N7 branding is also embossed on the tongues too.
It is uncertain if yet another Nike N7 collection will arrive at retailers later this year. However, this Air Jordan 31 “N7” is certainly hitting the shelves on November 7th in both adult and GS sizes, which will retail at prices of $185 and $160, respectively.
