Aleali May has 193k followers on Instagram, many of whom likely obsess over her fabulous outfits. The celebrity stylist, image consultant and model has been achieving tremendous success in the fashion world for quite a while now. She has worked as stylist for celebrities like Kendrick Lamar and Tinashe. Aleali has become an inspiring role model for young females all over the world. Over the recent years, she has worn accessories and outfits from Acne Studios, Alexander Wang, OFF-WHITE, Yeezy and plenty others. However, September 2017 has marked the first time that Aleali May has collaborated with Jordan Brand to design a special Air Jordan 6 colorway.
Aleali May happens to be an avid sneakerhead and has quite a dope sneaker collection, which is stashed in her West Hollywood apartment. According to Aleali, her uncle used to buy her all the latest Air Jordan pairs and that is how she got into sneakers. Moreover, Aleali has admitted that the Air Jordan 1 is her favorite, go-to sneaker. The Air Jordan 1 “Royal” is apparently her favorite colorway of the model and she also really loved the Fragment x Air Jordan 1. She has also claimed that Hot Pink used to be her favorite color, but now she apparently loves Millennial Pink.
Aleali May is now the second woman in history to have designed her own Air Jordan sneaker and it is not surprising that the iteration is nicknamed after her current favorite color, “Millennial Pink.” In fact, this Air Jordan 6 colorway is almost entirely dressed up in this light Millennial Pink shade, including its inner lining, laces and a portion of its midsoles. Additionally, it also features Infrared-colored accents as a secondary hue, which adds a vibrant touch to the color scheme. Last but not least, the sneaker is also equipped with icy, translucent outsoles.
Sneakerheads have probably already guessed it that they will not be able to cop a pair of this sneaker. That is because this Air Jordan 6 “Millennial Pink” designed by Aleali May happens to be a friends and family-exclusive, at least for now.
