The Los Angeles Clippers had a rather unexpected 2015-16 season that did not turn out well for them. Blake Griffin broke his hand and suffered a thigh tendon injury as a result of which he missed 47 games. Yet, the Clippers surprisingly progressed to the playoffs and in the very first round; they squared off against the Portland Trail Blazers. Later Chris Paul broke his hand too and Blake injured high thigh once again, and the Clippers eventually got eliminated in six games. Blake has been on a much-deserved summer break and he has been spotted laced up in special kicks.
From the Los Angeles Clippers roster, it is usually Chris Paul who well-known for rocking some of the finest Player Exclusive Air Jordan iterations, considering his longstanding relationship with Jordan Brand. Blake Griffin may have had an unfortunate 2015-16 season, but he seems to be under the spotlight because of the sneaker he decided to wear while he acted as the coach at sixth annual University of Oklahoma Legends Alumni Game. The sneaker he was wearing was a never-before-seen Air Jordan 11 that features predominantly clean White mesh uppers, while its inner linings, Jordan branding, patent leather mudguards and outsoles appear to be covered in a Maroon hue.
It is not surprising to see Blake Griffin rocking an Air Jordan since he is a Jordan Brand athlete with his own Super.Fly line, but it is still kind of refreshing. As for whether or not sneakerheads will ever be able to cop a pair of this Air Jordan 11 colorway, it is unlikely but also probable if Jordan Brand ever decides to drop it.
