Jordan Brand Has Brought Back The Jordan Alpha Trunner In Two New Colorways

Jordan Brand introduced the Jordan Alpha Trunner back in 1998 and eventually they ended up revamping it when they released the Jordan Alpha Trunner. The Alpha Trunner is a low-top cross trainer that was designed to have laminated uppers with mesh overlays on top. It was designed to also feature v-cut ankles, with TPU straps wrapped around it. Its Phylon midsoles were engineered so that wearers would experience enhanced forward propulsion with every step they took. Not to long ago, Jordan Brand brought back another variation, the Jordan Trunner LX. Now it seems that the Jordan Alpha Trunner is returning as well in two brand new colorways.

Jordan Alpha Trunner-2The Jordan Alpha Trunner itself was later revamped and released in the form of the Jordan Alpha Trunner Max, which was an even more advanced upgrade to the cross trainer. Instead of laminated material, its uppers were made almost entirely of mesh, making them even more breathable. However, its uppers did feature structural overlays and each shoe was also given a midfoot lacing system. Unlike the Jordan Alpha Trunner though, the Alpha Trunner Max has always been equipped with Air Max midsoles, which offer wearers better comfort and protect their feet from impacts. Even the Jordan Trunner LX resembles the Alpha Trunner to quite an extent.

Following the comeback of the Jordan Trunner LX, it was only a matter of time before Jordan Brand also brought back the Jordan Alpha Trunner and it seems that they really are doing just that. A lot of sneakerheads were probably not even expecting the Jordan Alpha Trunner to return, but the fact of the matter is that this cross trainer is set to arrive in two new, somewhat tonal colorways. One of these two colorways is dressed up predominantly in Red with some Black-colored accents here and there, while the other colorway is a Triple Black one with some minor White-colored details.

These two Jordan Alpha Trunner colorways will soon end up joining upcoming Air Jordan colorways 2017 as they will reportedly be arriving at select Jordan Brand retailers and on Nike.com in the coming days.
