The Chinese New Year is scheduled to take place on January 28th, 2017 and as sneakerheads know by now, Jordan Brand is celebrating it with a special GS-exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 12. Sneakerheads who have had a look at this Air Jordan 12 colorway must have seen that it predominantly clean White-colored leather uppers with 3M reflective overlays, bamboo-like detailing and contrasting Varsity Red-colored accents. Most notably, the Chinese letters reading “貳” can be spotted over the tongues, which translates to “12.” Of course, there will be plenty of other GS-sized Jordan releases 2017, such as the Air Jordan 1 colorways featured here.
Another upcoming girl’s grade school Air Jordan release that will soon be available is the Air Jordan 6 “Hyper Pink.” It seems that the Hyper Pink hue has been appearing over a number of retro Air Jordan releases as of lately, especially GS-exclusive ones like the Air Jordan 6 colorway mentioned here. The Air Jordan 6 “Hyper Pink” has uppers made up of a both premium leather and synthetic nubuck, dressed up predominantly in a combination of Anthracite and Black. Hyper Pink appears in the form of accents like the speckles over the midsoles, while this sneaker is also equipped with icy Blue-tinged outsoles.
These days, female sneakerheads do not really have to face disappointment from being fans of Air Jordan sneakers. In recent years, Jordan Brand has been more inclined to and taken greater interest in dropping a larger number of GS-exclusive releases. With 2017 already underway, it should be obvious that Jordan Brand has no intention of disappointing female fans, which is the reason these Air Jordan 1 GS colorways have been whipped up. Two of them are nearly all-Black iterations, one with leather uppers and the other with suede uppers. The third rendition has predominantly Black-colored uppers along with Hot Pink-colored overlays, while all three are equipped with all-White midsoles.
Thus, female and all other small-footed sneakerheads will have three different Air Jordan 1 GS colorways to choose from this year. While a release date for these three iterations has not been confirmed or revealed yet, they will reported be among Spring’s Air Jordan releases 2017.
