Jordan Brand celebrated its 30th Anniversary by bringing back the Jordan Dub Zero, which had been originally introduced back in 2005 as a hybrid model. All of the details and elements that the Jordan Dub Zero features were borrowed from some of Jordan Brand’s most iconic models, namely the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 11, Air Jordan 12, and the Air Jordan 13. Some even came from Jordan Brand’s later silhouettes, namely the Air Jordan 15, Air Jordan 17 and the Air Jordan 20. According to Instagram user , two brand new colorways of the Jordan Dub Zero will be among November 2016’s Jordan releases.
The most recognizable and signature feature of the Jordan Dub Zero is the engraved laser print that had made its debut on the Air Jordan 20. Originally, Jordan Brand had dropped four colorways, all of which had featured patent leather. A year later in 2006, another colorway of the Jordan Dub Zero had arrived at retailers and after a brief hiatus; it had once again made a comeback in 2009 in four different colorways, only to vanish for the next nine years. Back in 2015, Jordan Brand once again brought back the Dub Zero in celebration of the brand’s 30th Anniversary and the laser print’s 10th Anniversary.
Judging from the photos that shared on Instagram, the Jordan Dub Zero may indeed end up being among 2016’s Air Jordan releases. The photos accompanying this post just preview one of the two colorways that will apparently be arriving. This iteration appears to be dressed up in Black, Grey and White, while Volt-colored accents can also be spotted throughout. For the time being, there are no photos available of the other Jordan Dub Zero colorway that is also supposed to hit the shelves this year.
Fortunately, it is being reported that November 9 will mark the retail debut of the Jordan Dub Zero “Black/White-Grey” rendition that is featured here.
