Jordan Brand wanted to take training to a whole new level with the introduction of the Jordan Trainer 1. In 2017, just last month, Jordan Brand took that a step further by unveiling the Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit, their first model that incorporates Nike’s revolutionary knit construction technology. No doubt, the Jordan Trunner LX also made its debut several months ago, but the addition of Flyknit makes the Jordan Trainer 2 more unique. Michael Jordan must have appreciated the previous two Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit colorways that just arrived at retailers. The Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit “Chicago” and “UNC” hit the shelves back to back, on July 27th and 28th, respectively.
The 2017 NFL season is scheduled to kick off on September 7th, 2017, so the Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit colorway featured here is arriving just in time. It is dubbed “Michigan” due to being inspired by the Wolverines and their fans will be able to rock them if they decide to watch their favorite team’s games in person. The Flyknit uppers of the sneaker appear to be dressed up in a combination of Navy Blue and Yellow, which is the team’s official color scheme. The right heel stripe also features Michigan’s “Go Blue” cry and both the tongue tabs “MICHIGAN” printed over them.
For fans of the Michigan Wolverines, this training shoe is definitely a must-cop and many of them are probably already planning to grab a pair. They will have to wait a couple of more days because this Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit “Michigan” is reportedly scheduled to arrive at retailers on August 5th, 2017 and will be available at a price of $140.
