Jordan Brand obviously seems to have no intention of ceasing their Air Jordan 1 Mid releases. Even by the end of 2016, Jordan Brand dropped two brand new colorways of the silhouette. One of the two was a versatile “Sequoia” colorway that had uppers dressed up in a color scheme resembling that of the upcoming Air Jordan 8 “Take Flight.” The other one was an all-White rendition of the Air Jordan 1 Mid. Its leather uppers were dressed up in a tonal White hue that also appears over the sneaker’s inner linings, Jordan “Wings” branding, Nike “Swoosh” logos and outsoles.
The latest iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Mid is somewhat similar to the two mentioned above. It is somewhat monochromatic and tonal since it is entirely Grey-colored. This may seem like one of Jordan Brand’s more ordinary, regular Jordan releases, but this Air Jordan 1 Mid has uppers made up of premium leather. Its uppers are predominantly dressed up in Wolf Grey, with the only exception being the Nike “Swoosh” logos on the sides, which are covered in the darker Cool Grey hue. It is also equipped with all-White midsoles while its outsoles are covered in the same Wolf Grey hue as its uppers.
Furthermore, this does not seem to be a GS-exclusive release, so every sneakerhead will be able to lace up in this colorway. This tonal, Grey-colored Air Jordan 1 Mid has already hit the shelves at select, nationwide Jordan Brand and Nike retailers, and each pair is retailing for $110.
