Much like Jordan Brand, Nike also seems to moving forward with this recent trend of utilizing Vachetta Tan leather for the construction of popular models. Thus, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro is receiving the luxurious Vachetta Tan treatment in 2017. As can be seen in the photos, most of the sneaker’s uppers appear to be made of premium Vachetta Tan leather. At the same time, its Nike “Swoosh” logos are covered in Rose Gold, while its heels and tongue tabs seem to be made up of Sail-colored leather. Furthermore, its inner linings and tongues also feature leather accents, while it is equipped with translucent outsoles and waxed laces.
Last but definitely not the least, sneakerheads may already be aware that the Nike Air Foamposite One “Copper” makes its comeback in 2017 after seven years. Indeed, the Air Foamposite One “Copper” had made its debut back in 2010 and it is returning this year since 2017 marks the 20th anniversary of the model. Like the original, this year’s version will also be sporting a two-tone color scheme, with its rugged foam uppers dressed up predominantly in Metallic Copper with Black-colored detailing throughout. Additionally, its midsoles will also feature carbon fiber accents and the finish touch is added by icy, translucent outsoles.
While the release dates for neither of the above colorways has been confirmed yet, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Vachetta Tan” can be expected to hit the shelves in February 2017. As for the Little Posite Pro “Fruity Pebbles” and the Air Foamposite One “Copper,” they will be available at some point in Spring 2017. Furthermore, they will reportedly retail at prices of $180 and $300, respectively.
