adidas introduced the NMD R1 back in December 2015 and just after a year, they announced that they would be dropping an upgraded, second version of the model. adidas aimed to improve on the form, function and style of its predecessor, which they succeeded in doing, making the NMD R2 both look and perform better. While it was introduced with Primeknit uppers, its Boost tooling had been revised and its EVA plug detailing had been upgraded. Ever since February 2017, many sneakerheads have likely become focused on the latest installment in the adidas Yeezy line, the Calabasas Runner or the Yeezy Boost 700 Runner. Earlier this month, rumors began spreading that adidas and Alexander Wang were working together on a brand new, never-before-seen sneaker. It was a reddit user who leaked a photo of the model, which somewhat resembled the NMD City Sock. This silhouette turned out to be named the adidas AW Run and as its name suggests, it is indeed a running shoe. Unlike the NMD City Sock, this sleeker model has lightweight mesh uppers, knitted ankle sections, and full-length Boost midsoles and outsoles. The Yeezy line from adidas and Kanye West has been dominating a great portion of the sneaker and streetwear community. The Yeezy line debuted back in 2015 and ever since, the sneakers included in it have become the most sough-after all over the world. Earlier in 2016, adidas Originals and UNITED ARROWS & SONS teamed up to collaboratively design a “Tonarukara Navy” colorway of the Tobacco model. The lifestyle model that was first introduced back in the 70s and instead of taking an elaborate approach, they designed it to be quite simple. The recently designed “Tonarukara Navy” had uppers made up of premium tonal suede. In recent times, the sneaker shop Titolo has collaborated with a number of footwear brands. Not too long ago, Titlo teamed up with atmos and Puma to collaborative design a brand new iteration of Disc Blaze. Before that, Titolo was part of a collaboration with Reebok, which involved the Ventilator model. Titolo has even collaborated with Ascis, which led to the creation of the Gel Lyte 3 “Papercut.” All that remained was for Titolo to collaborate with adidas, which has finally happened this year.
