This Air Jordan 1 High Is Inspired By 1986’s “She’s Gotta Have It”

It was Spike Lee’s 1986 indie drama film “She’s Gotta Have It” that enabled him to enter the American indie scene and leave his mark. Thirty-one years later, it seems that Spike Lee’s groundbreaking debut film is receiving a 21st century upgrade on the small screen. It was revealed last year that Netflix ordered a 10-episode TV series of She’s Gotta Have It, which will also be directed by Spike Lee. Originally, Spike Lee also starred in the film as Mars Blackmon. Inspired by both 1986’s She’s Gotta Have It and Mars Blackmon, Jordan Brand and Spike Lee just collaborated to drop a new Air Jordan 1 High colorway. Last Sunday, which was June 11th, was Maya Moore’s 28th birthday. On her birthday, Maya and her fellow star veteran Sylvia Fowles ended up scoring a combined 53 point on behalf of their team, Minnesota Lynx, one of the WNBA’s most experienced teams. Ultimately, the Minnesota Lynx was victorious against the Dallas Wings with a total score of 91-74. Maya Moore already celebrated her birthday by aiding the Minnesota Lynx in defeating the Dallas Wings. This past Thursday night, Maya Moore lead the Minnesota Lynx women’s basketball team to victory against the New York Liberty, with a score of 90-71. Before the second half, Maya had scored just 4 points, but in the second half, she ended up scoring 12 more points, balancing out the score for her team. Of course, her teammates Lindsay Whalen and Sylvia Fowles also added 12 points each to their team’s score. There is a reason that Maya Moore is considered one of the best athletes in the WNBA. The Air Jordan 1 High “Wings” Could End Up Being A Charity Release

The “Wings” branding has been a part of the Air Jordan history, ever since Nike first introduced the revolutionary sneaker model. The logo was chosen to represent Michael Jordan’s ability to spread his metaphorical “wings” and soar into the air. Over the years, the “Wings” logo has consistently appeared over nearly all Air Jordan sneakers that have arrived at retailers. Back in 2015, Jordan Brand launched their WINGS program, a global community action program, and in 2016, they dropped the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” for charity.
