adidas Will Be Dropping These Three New NMD R2 Colorways In July 2017

Just recently, right before May came to an end, it was revealed that adidas and United Arrows & Sons would be collaborating to collectively design a brand new colorway of the NMD R2. However, rather than the actual sneaker that will eventually arrive at retailers, merely a sample pair was unveiled. The sample NMD R2 pair featured heathered uppers dressed up in a combination of Black and Grey, which suggests that it could end up making its retail debut either in Fall or Winter. Before that happens though, three new adidas NMD R2 colorways have been unveiled and are set to hit the shelves next month, i.e. in July. The adidas AlphaBOUNCE Will Mark The Debut Of The Breakthrough FORGEFIBER Stitching Technology

Sneakerheads have always loved how adidas sneakers fit, but with the latest FORGEFIBER technology they have introduced, their footwear will fit even better. For the innovative FORGEFIBER stitching technology, the German sportswear giant drew inspiration from body movement and explored the growth of organic cell structures. Apparently, the FORGEFIBER technology involves the use of TPU-coated yarn, which is stretched across certain areas of a sneaker and are then heat-compressed there. Unlike the traditional construction of adidas sneakers, FORGEFIBER will make them 30% more resistant. It seems that the AlphaBOUNCE running model has been chosen to serve as the base for the debut of the innovative FORGEFIBER technology. 2017 is already underway and the first month of this new year is already nearing its end. Yet, sneakerheads have probably been wondering why there has not been any news and/or updates from adidas regarding the release of upcoming Yeezy sneakers. Fortunately, they do not have to wonder any longer because it is being reported that the adidas Spring season lineup will include three different colorways of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2. In addition to those three iterations, Instagram user has also shared photos of a never-before-seen Yeezy Boost 350 V2 sample iteration that has predominantly clean White uppers with a Black-colored stripe on each side. The adidas NMD R1 Has Returned In The OG Colorway It Debuted In

The adidas NMD has had tremendous success in 2016. The most recent NMD release was quite a random one, which took place back in November 2016. It was an NMD R1 colorway included among Fall 2016’s adidas releases, featuring a Navy Blue and White color scheme with nylon uppers, all-White Boost midsoles and matching Navy Blue-colored EVA inserts. Also in November 2016, adidas also unveiled a Maroon- and Olive-colored iteration of the NMD R1 with mesh uppers that sneakerheads can expect to be available in Spring or Summer 2017. The Original adidas NMD “Black/Blue/Red/White” Colorway Will Be Available Again

As sneakerheads likely know, especially those who are fans of the NMD R1, adidas has upgraded the model with a brand new version of its predecessor in the form of the NMD R2. Most noticeably, its Primeknit uppers have been revamped, completely wrapped within unique overlays that bear a striped patterns. In addition, it is equipped with thicker Boost midsoles that feature a single large EVA insert instead of multiple ones. The NMD R2 already debuted recently on December 3rd in two different colorways that retailed for $160 each. Yet, the original adidas NMD Primeknit has not been forgotten, rather its OG “Black/Blue/Red/White” colorway is being brought back. For quite a while, adidas has been surpassing all expectations, whether it comes to its basketball sneakers, or its lifestyle or running shoes. Denis Dekovic, one of the latest adidas Originals designers, is one of the three prominent designers who formerly worked for Nike. Therefore, it kind of makes sense that adidas is triumphantly standing toe-to-toe with Nike under the spotlight. During the last few days of July, Denis had even given sneakerheads a glimpse at the latest adidas innovation, the NMD XR1. The adidas NMD’s OG Color Returns On The Runner’s Chukka Boot Hybrid Version

Near the end of January, adidas had unveiled a number of Primeknit-equipped NMD releases, one of which was the black and white R1 Pack 2 iteration. That NMD “R1” had turned out to be one of the best of the final weekend that month. For some reason, the sneaker became known by varying nicknames, including the “NMD_R1” and the “NMD Runner PK.” However, with spring already here and summer approaching, a more season-appropriate version of adidas’ popular runner would be the casual, boot-like NMD Chukka.
