Nike has always strived for innovation. Back in 2015, their latest innovation was the introduction of the Nike SNKRS App, which revolutionized the way sneakerheads buy sneakers online. Before the SNKRS App was introduced, sneakerheads who actually wanted to rock their favorite sneakers were not able to cop pairs because of bots and resellers. Nike introduced the SNKRS App as a one-stop shop for sneakerheads throughout the United States, where they can buy premium Nike sneakers through their mobile devices. It seems that Nike’s latest innovation is linked to the SNKRS App and has been dubbed “SNKRS Stash,” through which online releases will be available at real world locations. The Air Jordan 1 High “Wings” Could End Up Being A Charity Release

The “Wings” branding has been a part of the Air Jordan history, ever since Nike first introduced the revolutionary sneaker model. The logo was chosen to represent Michael Jordan’s ability to spread his metaphorical “wings” and soar into the air. Over the years, the “Wings” logo has consistently appeared over nearly all Air Jordan sneakers that have arrived at retailers. Back in 2015, Jordan Brand launched their WINGS program, a global community action program, and in 2016, they dropped the Air Jordan 12 “Wings” for charity. It seems that the Air Jordan 1 is receiving the “Wings” treatment this year, which could likely be another charity-based release. The adidas Athen Returns Once Again In A “Forest Green” size? Exclusive Colorway

It seems that history will be repeating itself in 2017. Last year, adidas brought back the Athen trainer model after 50 years since they had originally dropped it. Back in 1967 when adidas first introduced the Athen as an all-round sports shoe, it was actually known as the Jaguar. Adidas released it as an early design for their City Series. It was in 2004 that shoe was named Athen after the Greek capital city that hosted Olympics that year. The same adidas Athen colorway was brought back as a size? exclusive and apparently the model is once again arriving as a size? exclusive, but in a brand new colorway. Last Year’s Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” Recently Got Restocked On Nike.com

Last year, i.e. in 2016, Jordan Brand went on somewhat of a spree of dropping one Air Jordan release after another, a few of which were returning colorways. One of them was the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue,” which was brought back the very next day after April Fool’s Day last year, on April 2nd, 2016. The sneaker made its comeback in celebration of the Air Jordan 12’s 20th anniversary and the last time it was seen at retail shelves was back in 2004. adidas & Overkill Have Collaborated For This Upcoming Two-Sneaker EQT “Coat of Arms” Pack

For sneakerheads who do not know, Overkill is a Berlin-based sneaker store. Back in June 2016, Overkill was the first to unveil the extremely limited and special adidas NMD “Firestarter.” adidas had produced merely 300 pairs of the sneaker, which arrived at retailers all over the globe, including Overkill. The breathable primeknit uppers of the sneaker was dressed up in combination of Black and White, while a fiery Bright Orange hue appeared over its heel pull tabs and outsoles. It is probably obvious that adidas and Overkill have close ties, and this year, those ties will translate into this new, upcoming Overkill x adidas EQT “Coat of Arms” Pack. Nike Is Bringing Back The Iconic Air Diamond Turf “Emerald” After Seven Years

Backed in 1993, Nike designed the Air Diamond Turf for former NFL athlete Deion “Neon” Sanders. Eventually, Nike kept on designing one model after another and thus, an entire Air Diamond Turf lineup came to be. The final silhouette was the Air Diamond Turf 5 that Nike introduced back in 1998. Throughout his professional baseball and football career, Deion wore all of the models. Until now, merely the first three models have received the retro treatment, namely the Diamond Turf 1, 2 and DT Max ’96.
