As its name likely suggests, the Nike Air Huarache Utility is basically an innovative version of the original Huarache model that Tinker Hatfield had designed back in 1991. Nike introduced the Air Huarache Utility this year as a more lightweight alternative to the original Air Huarache, while it is also a bit different when it comes to its style. In fact, the Air Huarache Utility can be regarded as a more technological advanced and upgraded edition of the original that adds a modern touch to the features sneakerheads are familiar with. The sneaker also happens to be equipped with a Dynamic Flywire lace system, while it also offers wearers a slip-on option as well.
The base of the sneaker has a tape-like construction around it, which is actually the Dynamic Flywire. The heel cage is the same as that of the original Huarache while the slip-on option is offered courtesy of the neoprene mesh sock liner. Last but not least, the sneaker also features 3M perforations and it is also equipped with an iridescent mudguard, making this brand new iteration appear almost like a retro.
In recent times, plenty of Nike Air Huarache colorways have hit the shelves and while some sneakerheads may disagree, it was about time Nike introduced something new while not ignoring the model entirely. Hence, sneakerheads should feel glad that they will get to grab something more unique when the Nike release of this Air Huarache Utility PRM “Hologram” finally arrives.
