There was a time when Jordan Brand would drop only one Air Jordan 11 colorway in a year, which would usually be the annual Holiday Air Jordan 11 release of the year. However, Jordanheads are likely quite well-aware that this year will be different since the scheduled Air Jordan releases of 2016 include multiple iterations of the eleventh model. Along with this year’s Holiday release, the silhouette is also slated to arrive in a “Navy/Gum” and “Varsity Red” rendition. Surprisingly, it turns out that Jordan Brand have whipped up another Air Jordan 11 colorway too that might just make its retail debut this year.
This holiday season, Jordanheads are actually going to get what they have all been waiting for Jordan Brand to give to them, i.e. a chance to add the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” to their collection. A majority of the readers are likely quite well-aware by now that the aforementioned has already been confirmed by the Jumpman as this year’s annual Air Jordan 11 release for the holiday season. It is even being rumored that the 2017 release date of the sneaker could be anywhere between December 17th and 24th. However, it is possible that this recently revealed Air Jordan 11 “Gold” might hit the shelves first.
As can be seen in the photo posted by Instagram user , the mesh uppers of this Air Jordan 11 colorway are plain white. However, the thing that makes them pop is the gold hue that covers the glossy patent leather mudguards and the Jumpman logo featured on the heels. Moreover, the sneaker is also equipped with icy, translucent outsoles.
Not much is known about this sneaker since did not offer any details at all. So, there is the possibility that this may actually be a custom. Similarly, for the sake of assumption, this gold and white Air Jordan 11 could also potentially be one of the Air Jordan releases 2016 that have been designed in commemoration of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.
