It was not a coincidence that the massive collaboration between atmos, Nike and Jordan Brand revolved around two of the most iconic masterpieces that Tinker Hatfield has ever created. The Air Max 1 “Elephant” from this pack was originally voted by sneakerheads as their release of choice for Air Max Day 2016. The iteration was nicknamed “Elephant” due to being inspired by the Air Jordan 3’s elephant print, which appeared over the sneaker’s ankle collars and mudguard overlays. Contrastingly, the Air Jordan 3 included in the pack was designed by drawing inspiration from the Air Max 1 “Safari,” so it featured an alternate safari print.
It seems that sneakerheads in Tokyo will be the first ones to be able to cop a pair of the atmos x Nike Zoom Vapor Tour Air Jordan 3. It makes sense, considering that atmos is located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. As sneakerheads should know by now, this tennis shoe model was designed in collaboration Roger Federer and it is inspired by the Air Jordan 3. For the debut launch of this upcoming sneaker, atmos seems to have constructed a spectacular display that includes a neon sign and appears to have an elephant print background behind it, which makes it resemble the sneaker itself.
This Nike Zoom Vapor Tour Air Jordan 3 has actually already made its retail debut in Tokyo at atmos. However, sneakerheads in the rest of the world will have to wait till November 17th, 2017 to cop a pair of this tennis shoe.
